As a Las Vegas Construction Photographer, I have the opportunity to photograph a wide variety of construction, design build, industrial, manufacturing and engineering projects throughout Nevada.  Today we put on our hard hats and steel toes again to photograph the new design build construction process of the MSG Sphere  the strip in Las Vegas.  

 This was certainly not a finished, punch out ready construction photography project.  We focused this time around on the construction processes.  Lighting was challenging for the interiors of this project.  All of the interior construction photographs and employee lifestyle photographs were done with my own lighting, techniques I have spent decades developing for situations just like this dark, dusty space.  I wanted to show the space in it’s natural state while making the hero’s and design elements pop.  The MSG Sphere will not be complete and ready for final photography for some time still.

What Does A  Commercial Construction Photographer Do

A Construction Photographer is very unique  type of photographer.  First, you have to be qualified to be onsite.  I carry specialized Insurance Policy that meets nearly all Construction Company, Civil Engineering Company, Architectural Firm, MEP Company and Infrastructure Companies corporate requirements to be onsite.  I also complete an extensive yearly OSHA training program.

Construction sites often times present challenges to capture final art that describes the construction process without distractions while maintaining safety.  I have spent more than 20 years developing solutions to get close and high enough to capture dramatic construction photography without distractions that will differentiate your construction process from the competition and document your project with the best lighting and composition.  I use professional studio lighting to create vibrant, crisp, clean imagery that separates your business, products, people and branding.   I work side by side with Art Directors and Marketing Departments to create the visual style and art envisioned from concept to print.  I consider myself and my construction clients all one team.  We will work together to create strong, powerful construction photography that not only documents your project, but captures the attention of others through proposals, websites and marketing materials.
